Tours to the National Park “Illas Atlanticas”: a sea of treasures to be discovered. An island to explore, a place to remember. In the town of Redondela by a creek that shares its name, is located San Simon island. Forgotten by many for being a quarantine centre and a prison, it’s been muse to medieval poets and witness to pirate pillages and treasure hunters. It is currently named the “Island of thought”, a place of cultural assets (BIC), under environmental protection and is part of the “Red Natura 2000”.
